I finally get to see the real Mummies, esp Merenptah, the 13th son of Ramses II (Mr K's favourite - not the mummy but the pronounciation of his name by our tourist guide in Cairo).
Unfortunately cameras were not allowed in the Mummy Museum and we were not even allowed to talk in the room....hmmm I wonder why? Takut mummy terkejut kot...heheh.........

Controversy exists about whether or not he was ruling during the Biblical exodus when Moses (PBUH) fled Egypt and crossed the Red Sea. In Exodus, it states that the Pharaoh and his chariots drowned in the sea chasing Moses. Indeed, the mummy of Mernatapah or Merenptah is noticeably whitened, with half-eaten toes and fingers, and it's speculated that he died by drowning. Hmmmm...

However, i found a picture of Merenptah in the net, he look exactly the same like the one we saw in the museum...heheheeh...

MOVING ON

Today is the last day for my boss (of 11 years) to be in the office sob sob.... He's worked for the group for 38 years. With that, I will also be leaving the company and moving on to a new company (within the same group). I will still be where I am now for another month b4 moving to the new office/company.

Therefore, I may not be able to update this blog & bloghopping as often as I did b4. Will update this blog once I've settled down!

Of late ni......ramai of my frens, yg kat office, yg kat blogland, yg kat egroup mostly semua going thru one of the syndroms kat atas tuh..................i also kena gigit with this bug a bit a couple of weeks ago.........but thanks to my wonderful hubby who made me feel better by saying some soothing "things"........yay..

So to all my frens yg going thru these mood swings, hopefully this post will help!

Last weekend, took the children to Rumah Kebajikan Anak2 Yatim & Miskin Al-Munirah. Just to show them that while we're enjoying good food, comfortable home, lots of toys, holidays & everything, there are other people yang susah, yang tak ada parents,yang tak ada proper rumah and those yg cant even afford to have decent meals!

Whenever kita tak boleh habiskan food, pernah tak kita terfikir bout other people yg less fortunate than us??

Jelajah East Coast

Just got back from east coast ada treasure hunt @ Awana Kijal, and happy to inform that we got number 2............(hadiahnyer? boleh laa shopping sakan kat Mega Sale nnt..hehe)

After the treasure hunt kita jelajah the other part of Malaya yg we all belum jelajah.......very interesting....tapi tiring..................

Mr K & I drove from Kijal to Tg Jara for lunch kat one Seafood Restaurant yg memang superb!, the Sweet & sour Tiger Prawn and Black Pepper Crab...wallah.....hmmm (our 3rd visit there this year alone)! Dah kenyang off we travel to the enchantingly beautiful Tasik Kenyir..........

........mulanya ingat nak stay there for one night, tapi the place is so quiet and mcm takde orang je....& knowing me....the very penakut one.....so tak jadilaaaa...terus ke KB - and because this is an unplanned trip so takdela make reservation for hotel, dok pusing2 KB, keluar masuk few hotels semua fully booked! Duh! forgot about the erection...opps..election! Finally dapatlaa one decent hotel laaaa....but having been pampered keterlaluan, both of us like macam hesitated nak dok kat situ, but looking at the time masa tu dah almost 9pm and we dah terlampau tired sgt, what the heck! Well, the room pun not bad at all - but cannot compare to 5 stars laaa kan........but Mr K happy coz ada his fav football channel - depa ni letak laa kat mana pun janji ada Astro and Sports channel, depa can survive!

Early next morning, terus checked-out and had breakfast before heading to Rantau Panjang (RP) (ntah brapa kali sesat tak taulaaa & brapa byk phone calls we made to frens asking for directions!) East coast ni not quite "road user friendly" but got very dissapointed coz tak banyak sgt interesting things kat RP tu........so takdela terbang kita punya $$$$$$$$$$$$.......

We left RP around 2pm, ikut Jeli to Grik.........view memang cantik, the lush padi fields, the kampung houses, & not many cars on the road ..........cuma lori balak je yg byk....(sometimes i just feel like going down and push the lori tuh bila part naik bukit! Nak overtake, double line!, Polis lak mcm ada je kat mana-mana.......)

Dok bz enjoying the serenity & beauty of bumi Allah ni, lupa pulak nak amik gambar........mcm2 yg pelik, yg funny, yg sedih.......yg menakutkan.......semua ada.....................just 2 kpg je yg sempat kita snap!

yg funnynya......ada one small petrol pump kat one remote area between Jeli & Grik - dekat dia punya ice box dia tempek sign - ICE TUBE ada dijual..............Mr K & I dok bantai gelak........sebab yg depa juai tu ICE Cubes...........camno gamaknya rupa ice tube..........hehe..........apa apa jela...janji they all happy.........kita orang pun happy gak......yg menakutkan bila sampai kat Kampung Sungai Satan, Tanah Merah....hissh...takdak nama lain ker?

The journey from Jeli to Grik to Ipoh tho memang cantik sangat tapi rasa macam neverending stori pulak........................actually lega jugak when finally nampak Signboard PLUS just before Sg Perak R&R - rasa macam tak sabar pulak nak balik.. coz we miss the kittos soooooooooo much...........

While visiting KC's blog last nite, teringat satu cerita kelakar.....similar to KC's intruder tapi hat ni lain sket....................

Many-many moons ago, masa tu me & my elder sister still
DARA
pingitan, staying kat apartment berdua, and one time dicerobohi oleh we tried so many things tapi tak berjaya nak get rid of the "pendatang" tu - time tu tak terpikiaq pulak pasal pest control!

One unforgettable day, masa kat kitchen tu i heard something dok tung tang tung tang....so dah suspected it's the Cik T laaaa....apa lagi....bersenjatakan spray nyamuk and ayaq panas mendidih, i sprayed dekat bawah almari yg dok bunyik tu and simbah air panas..........but guess what??? nampak ekoq ikan (quite big) dok melibas-libas and menggelupur kesakitan....apa lagi i punya menjerit...................my sister yg dok tidoq came out from her room and asked what happened? so i told her that i think we actually ada alien dalam rumah - half Cik T and half fish......because memang b4 this we all nampak kelibat the Cik T

We dont really need to express our love and gratitude towards our loved ones only on Certain occasions right?

I often tell you I LUV U, and say how glad I am we found each other -
